Basic decoration with Fondant

  • Recipe and how to make genoise cake for decorating with fondant
  • Recipe and how to make ganache
  • How to cover with ganache

Class 2: 9h Saturday 22/2/2014

  • Recipe and how to make homemade fondant
  • How to knead and roll out fondant
  • How to cover a square or round cake with fondant

Class 3: 14h30 Sunday 23/2/2014

  • How to make fondant appliqué and inlay designs 
  • How to make fondant flowers, bows and buttons
  • Complete decorating the cake with fondant. 

IV.  Vietnamese Cooking Class:

Time:  8h30 Sunday 9/2/2014

Location: Kitchen Art Studio, 38 Quảng An, Tây Hồ, Hà Nội

Class size: 12 students

Course fee: 500.000vnd/student

Tools: DSLR camera

 

Content:

Part 1 – Food photography 101: Basic ideas, basic knowledge to use your camera in food photograpy (ISO, shutter speed, aperture)

Part 2 – Basic lighting: How to get natural light and practice.

Part 3 – Food styling

Part 4 – basic retouch and colorization
